Azmat Ullah appointed as chairman of Gazipur Unnayan Kartripakkha

Azmat Ullah, president of Gazipur City Awami League, has been appointed as the chairman of Gazipur Unnayan Kartripakkha.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Rafiqul Islam, in this regard today.

According to the notification, Azmat Ullah will serve as the chairman of Gazipur Unnayan Kartripakkha for the next three years. However, this appointment is subject to the condition that he must leave any other positions he holds in other organisations or institutions.

The decision came two weeks after Azmat Ullah lost to Independent Zaida Khatun in Gazipur city corporation mayoral election as AL nominated candidate.
