BPDB supplies record 16,233MW power

Bangladesh Power Development Board today supplied a record 16,233 megawatts of electricity as power demand increased due to a country-wide heatwave.

The record was set at 9:00pm tonight, read a press release issued by the Power Division.

BPDB's last year's record was 15,648MW on April 19.
