Storekeeper gets 3 yrs for accumulating illegal wealth

A Rangpur court sentenced a storekeeper of the Rangpur Family Planning Office to three years imprisonment in a case filed for acquiring illegal wealth worth more than Tk1 crore.

Md Haider Ali, judge of Rangpur Special Judge Court, handed down the verdict this afternoon.

The convict is Hamidur Rahman, of Keshabpur village of Sadar upazila of Naogaon district.
