2 Bangladeshi photographers exhibiting works in Bahrain

A weeklong photo exhibition featuring Bangladeshi artists is underway in Seef Mall of Bahrain. 

The exhibition titled "Glimpses of Bangladesh" showcases 70 photos of Bangladeshi photographers -- Mostafiz Mamun and Abdul Momin.

Starting from May 26, the exhibition will continue till June 1. It's open from 10:00am to 10:00pm everyday.

The Bangladesh Embassy organised the event in association with Colours of the East art gallery.

Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bahrain, Dr Md Nazrul Islam, inaugurated the exhibition on May 26, 2022. The event was organised to focus natural beauty, culture and heritage of Bangladesh, the ambassador said.

Mentioning the excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Bahrain, he said that such exhibitions will further promote trade and commerce between the two countries, including the tourism sector. 

The opening ceremony was attended by foreign diplomats, senior officials of the government of Bahrain, businessmen, writers, cultural persons, and others.

The photos of the two artists are representing a non-communal Bangladesh, including its agriculture, economy, culture, education, health, women's empowerment and natural beauty.

On the opening day, a huge number of Bangladeshi expatriates, Bahraini citizens visited the exhibition. Bahraini visitors were impressed by the Bangladeshi pictures.
