Here are the winners of the 2023 Anime Awards

Since 2017, the popular anime streaming service Crunchyroll has been handing out awards to the best performing anime shows across a number of different categories. This year, the platform released its full list of winners yesterday in Tokyo, Japan. 

Here are the winners of the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Anime of the Year: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Other nominations included Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, Lycoris Recoil, Ranking of Kings (Cour 2), and SPY x FAMILY.

Best Original Anime: Lycoris Recoil

Other nominations included BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls' Story-, Healer Girl, The Orbital Children, Vampire in the Garden, and YUREI DECO.

Best Anime Film: JUJUTSU KAISEN 0

Other nominations included Belle, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, INU-OH, One Piece Film Red, and The Deer King.

Best Anime Character Design: Akira Matsushima, Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc

Other nominations included Atsuko Nozaki, Ranking of Kings (Cour 2), Kazuaki Shimada, SPY x FAMILY, Kazumasa Ishida, My Dress-Up Darling, Masanori Shino, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Yo Yoshinari, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Best Animation: Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc

Other nominations included Akebi's Sailor Uniform, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Ranking of Kings (Cour 2), and SPY x FAMILY.

Best New Anime Series: SPY x FAMILY

Best Continuing Anime Series: One Piece
