Zaida urges voters to come to polling centres

Independent candidate of Gazipur City Corporation polls Zaida Khatun is hopeful of winning the election and has requested voters to come to the polling centres to vote for her electoral symbol table ghori.

So far, the voting environment and law and order situation is good, she said after casting her vote at the Chandana Center in Gazipur around 10:00am.

Zahangir Alam, Zaida's son and suspended mayor of GCC, accompanied Zaida at the voting centre.

He alleged that in some centres their agents are being threatened and intimidated.
