Bangladesh v England: Statistical highlights of ODI series

When England scored 278 in the third and final game to clinch the series on Wednesday, it was their highest successful chase against Bangladesh in ODIs. Overall, this was England's fourth highest successful chase against any team in ODIs outside England, reports Cricket Country.

Their previous highest seventh wicket stand in ODIs against England is 76, which was scored Aftab Ahmed and Mohammad Rafique in 2005. Overall, this is Bangladesh's third highest seventh wicket partnership in ODIs against any team and second highest at home.

Adil Rashid's bowling figures of 10-0-43-4 is the best by any spinner from England against Bangladesh in ODIs. Also, he became fourth spinner from England to take 50 or more wickets in ODIs and as an England's leg-spinner, he has the highest number of wickets.

10-wickets for Rashid in this series — most by any English bowler in a bilateral ODI series in Bangladesh. Overall, Rashid's tally of 10-wickets is second most number of wickets by any bowler in a bilateral ODI series in Bangladesh after Vasbert Drakes of West Indies, who scalped 12-wickets in 2002.

62-runs conceded by Chris Woakes — second most runs conceded by an English bowler against Bangladesh in ODIs. James Anderson holds the record for conceding most runs against Bangladesh by leaking 74 runs from his spell of 10 overs in 2010.

Total of 277 for six is second highest by Bangladesh against England in ODIs. Their highest total in ODIs against England is 288, which came in the first match of this series.

216-wickets for Mashrafe Mortaza in ODIs — most by any Bangladesh bowler till now. He surpassed Shakib Al Hasan's tally of 215 ODI wickets.
