There were a lot of speculations about possible first-team absences for the tour of Bangladesh but England, in the end, named strong squads led by Jos Buttler for the white-ball series against Bangladesh on Thursday.

England will play three ODIs and three T20Is starting on March 1.

Uncapped Somerset batter Tom Abell, who is set to captain the England Lions in the upcoming ODI series in Sri Lanka, is included in both squads while Leicestershire leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed earns his first call-up to an England white-ball squad.

Saqib Mahmood is selected to the ODI squad as he prepares to make his return to full international cricket following the back injury he suffered last May.

The three-match T20 series will be England's first since being crowned world champions following last November's ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia.
