Mamunul Islam, Zahid Hasan Emily return to national team for Bhutan fixture

Veterans Mamunul Islam and Zahid Hasan Emily have been included in the final 23-member squad for Bangladesh's crucial second leg away fixture of the Asian Cup Qualifying Playoff. 

Midfielder Mamunul was left out of the squad from the home leg match last month while striker Emily had out of the side for almost a year due to his injuries and lack of form. 

However, both the players were included as coach Tom Saintfiet today announced his squad for the October 10 fixture. The squad features three goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and as a many as ten attackers, both wide players and forwards.

The coach also kept three players as stand-bys in case of injuries to squad players.

SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Ashraful Islam Rana, Mamun Khan, Mohammad Nehal

Defenders: Topu Barman, Mamun Mia, Rayhan Hasan, Rezaul Karim, Atiqur Rahman Meshu

Midfielders: Enamul Haque Sharif, Emon Mahmud, Mamunul Islam, Mohammad Abdullah, Atiqur Rahman Fahad 

Wingers and forwards: Hemanta Vincent Biswas, Sohel Rana Sr, Rubel Mia, Enamul Haque, Jewel Rana, Zahid Hasan Emily, Shakhawat Hossain Ronny, Jafar Iqbal, Mahbub Hossain Nayan, Sohel Rana jr.
