Not a single action took place on the third day of the second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur as the day's play was called off as early as 2:00pm today due to continuous rain triggered by the weakened cyclone Jawad.

Once again, the game is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am tomorrow, in an attempt to squeeze in a maximum of 98 overs in the day.

Pakistan, who lead the two-match Test series 1-0, courtesy of a eight-wicket win in the first Test at Chattogram, scored 188 for two in 63.2 overs in the first two days of play while riding on two unbeaten knocks from Azhar Ali (52) and skipper Babar Azam (71). Taijul Islam scalped the only two wickets that fell in the game so far.
