Banglalink arranges seminar on startup ecosystem with Startup Bangladesh

Telecom operator Banglalink recently held a seminar titled "Road to New Digital Ecosystem – Developing Tech Entrepreneurs" in collaboration with Startup Bangladesh at the BCC auditorium in Agargaon.

NM Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, Information and Communication Technology Division, was present at the seminar as the Chief Guest. Sami Ahmed, Managing Director, Startup Bangladesh Limited and Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink, were also present at the seminar.

The speakers discussed how the local startup ecosystem can benefit from AppLink, a digital service marketplace that can help app developers use necessary tools to monetise their apps. The speakers also spoke about the role of digital service providers like Banglalink in developing local startups and encouraging digital entrepreneurs.

The seminar started with an opening speech by Taimur Rahman, followed by a presentation on Banglalink. Sami Ahmed, Managing Director, Startup Bangladesh Limited and NM Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, Information and Communication Technology Division, also delivered their speeches on the country's startup scenario. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session and a crest-giving ceremony.
