Top smartphones under Tk. 15k

Smartphones have made our life easier and more trendy. With the advancement of technology and its easy availability, we have access to smartphones even at lower prices. In Bangladesh, the availability of cheaper smartphones has increased due to the increase in local production. Features phone within the range of Tk. 15,000 often share very similar features, such as 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, 5000 mAh battery, full HD video camera and Android 11 OS. Here are our recommendations for some budget smartphones under the Tk. 15k price tag. 

Vivo Y01 

Despite being the most affordable phone in this list, Vivo Y01 sports impressive performance for its price range. It runs on a Helio P35 processor, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB memory. Similar to other phones in this list, it also sports 5000 mAh battery and Android 11 OS. With a 6.51-inch display, 5 MP front camera, two nano SIM slots and one micro SD slot, this smartphone offers versatility as well. It also supports accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and e-compass.

Realme C33

Realme phones are consistent all-rounders in terms of service and style. Realme C33 comes with the standard 5000 mAh battery and two nano card slots with one micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 12 OS backed by Unisoc T612 processor. It also has a 5 MP selfie camera and a 50 MP primary camera. It comes in a 6.5-inch display and features a side fingerprint for easy screen unlocking.

Redmi 10C

Xiaomi Redmi 10C is better than their other models in this range owing to its high-performance processor and operating system. The 4/64 GB variant comes with an Android 11 OS (MIUI 13). It also has a 5000 mAh battery with an 18W fast charging option, notably impressive in this price range. Owing to its Snapdragon 680 chipset, it provides a solid performance as well. The display is a Gorilla Glass-protected screen in 6.71-inch HD. The back camera comes with a dual camera of 50+2 MP resolution. Although the front 5 MP camera can be improved, the phone is a top pick for its performance and build.

Oppo A16e

Oppo is known for its stylish phones and great camera build. Oppo A16e comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage with an expandable memory slot. The display is a decent 6.52-inch HD+ screen. It has an Android 11 operating system (ColorOS 11.1) and comes with a 4,230 mAh battery. With a 13 MP back camera with LED flash and a front camera of 5 MP, it has notable camera performance as well. The only drawback of this phone is that it has no fingerprint sensor. Nonetheless, this phone is still a good choice considering its octa-core processor.

Motorola Moto E7 Power 

Motorola Moto E7 Power features 4 GB RAM, 64 GB memory and a 6.51-inch HD+ screen display with a water drop-notch design in full view. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery and a 10W fast charging feature. Featuring a 2.0 GHz octa-core CPU and a MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, this phone has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It sports decent camera performance but no display protection. Using better display protection can be a solution to this limitation.
