Thakurgaon MP Dabirul Islam tests Covid-19 positive, airlifted to Dhaka

UNB, Thakurgaon

Dabirul Islam, lawmaker from Thakurgaon-2 constituency, was airlifted to Dhaka today for better treatment after he tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) brought MP Dabirul to Dhaka at 2:00pm, said Thakurgaon Civil Surgeon Dr Mahfuzar Rahman.

Later, he was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

MP Dabirul tested positive for coronavirus yesterday.
