Dhaka University Teachers' Association polls underway

The Dhaka University Teachers' Association (Duta) election has begun amid festive mode today from 10:00am at Dhaka University Teachers' Club.

The election will continue till 2:30pm, as per the election schedule, reports our DU correspondent from the spot.

Pro-Awami League teachers are contesting the polls under "Blue Panel" and pro-BNP teachers under "White Panel".

Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof Sitesh Chandra Bachar is functioning as the election commissioner.

In the last Duta election held on December 30 in 2021, the blue panel won 14 posts while the white panel one.
