Taqsem's term as Wasa MD extended for 6th time

Taqsem A Khan's term as Dhaka Wasa managing director was today extended by three years.

This was the sixth time that his term was extended.

A notification was issued in this regard, signed by Local Government Division Deputy Secretary Mustafizur Rahman.

Earlier on July 11, the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) board in a meeting took the decision to send the proposal to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives asking to keep Taqsem as the managing director for another term.

LGRD is the line ministry for Wasa.

Taqsem has been holding his post since October 2009. His sixth term will end on October 14 this year.
