Beaten up at Shaheed Minar: DMCH intern doctor files GD

An intern doctor of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, who was allegedly beaten up by a group of students of Dhaka University at the premises of Central Shaheed Minar on August 8, filed a general diary (GD) with Shahbagh Police Station yesterday (August 9, 2022).

The doctor was identified as Sazzad Hossain, reports our DU correspondent.

The victim could not identify the attackers yet, but says he saw them wearing t-shirts with DU logo.

DU Proctor Prof Akm Golam Rabbani told The Daily Star, "We will help the police if they need our assistance in any way."
