Big B tried to smoke in hospital on Abhishek’s birth

The Bachchan family is living it up in style to make Abhishek Bachchan’s 40th birthday a memorable one. From a Maldives trip to surprise parties planned by his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, everything is in order, reports the Hindustan Times.

Amitabh Bachchan became emotional yesterday, and shared stories on his blog about how he gifted champagne to the hospital where Abhishek was born, and even tried smoking cigar inside the hospital, HT reports.

“Just the other day we had screamed in the corridors of the Breach Candy Hospital, trying to smoke a cigar, some champagne to the staff till late in the night...when he was born.”

“For me it is still the two-finger-in- mouth idle, seated by the steps of the house, or playing field that remains in vivid memory of this my son .. and all the auspicious greetings that has come to him from the Ef is greatly appreciated and loved .. thank you ever so much,” he wrote further.

Sharing a beautiful picture of his son against the backdrop of ‘Happy Birthday’ in blazing flames, Amitabh wrote, “And on the midnight of the 4th/5th a private celebration to bring in the birthday of our progeny .. the fire ‘happy birthday’ the exception.”
