Moutushi Biswas in Humayun Ahmed's Krishnapokkho
Television actress Moutushi Biswas is spending busy times with her upcoming feature film “Krishnapokkho”. Based on Humayun Ahmed's novel of the same title, the film is being directed by Meher Afroze Shaon.
Moutushi is portraying the character of Miru in the film. Miru's life is centered on her daughter as her husband lives abroad. She spends most of her time with her daughter at her father's home.
About her role in the film, Moutushi said, “I had read the novel a long time ago, but I'm reading it again and again to understand Miru properly. It has a very good storyline.”
“Miru is an interesting character. And when Shaon offered me the role I agreed instantaneously,” the actress added.
Moutushi also said, “Coincidentally, my daughter Arya is playing Miru's daughter in the film. So it's a different experience to work with little Arya.”
Though Moutushi has previously portrayed Humayun Ahmed's characters in television, this is the first film. Shooting for the film is currently on.
