Habib, Sunidhi Chauhan ready to rock Dhaka concert

Popular Bangladeshi singer-composer Habib Wahid and Sunidhi Chauhan, one of the most popular Indian playback singers, will perform at a concert in Dhaka today.

The concert titled “Winter Blast 2015” will be held at Naboratri Hall of International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital this evening.

The event will start around 7:00pm and will remain open for the song lovers from 6:00pm.

With the two celebrated playback singers of the two neighbouring countries, Rakesh Myni, winner of the Indian Idol-5, is also scheduled to enchant the song lovers with his hit numbers during the event.

Rakesh and a delegation of 19-member headed by Sunidhi arrived in Dhaka yesterday by a flight. But Sunidhi missed the plane as her mother was ill.

But later she through skype told reporters that she is ready to perform the event. Though she missed the flight but is coming by another flight today.

Club 11 Entertainment and Inception Media Ltd. are jointly arranging the event.

Price of the tickets for the concert is fixed at four different categories: Lion (Tk 10,000), Tiger (Tk 7,000), Panther (Tk 5,000) and Leopard (Tk 3,000).

Habib recently shared the event poster on his Facebook page, and invited his fans to enjoy the show.

Sunidhi Chauhan has performed in Dhaka a couple of times before, but this is the first time she will be sharing the stage with a Bangladeshi artiste.

Sunidhi is best known for her Hindi and Punjabi film songs in Bollywood. She is one of the most recorded voices in India with over 300 studio recordings. She made her international debut with the Indian Mix song 'Heartbeat' in collaboration with Enrique Iglesias.
