15-day long Muktijuddher Bijoy Mela begins in Manikganj

The 28th Muktijuddher Bijoy Mela began at the Bijoy Mela ground in Manikganj yesterday. Chairman of the Udjapon Parishad and Manikganj district council and freedom fighter advocate Golam Mohiuddin formally inaugurated the 15-day long victory fair by hoisting the national flag.

After that, singers of Manikganj district unit of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Goshthi rendered beautiful versions of gana sangeet.

More than three hundreds stalls have been set up in the fair. Cultural functions, including baul songs, theatre, discussion and rural sports would be held every day during the 15-day long fair.
