Turongomi's 'Aranya' to mesmerise this monsoon

Turongomi Repertory Dance Theatre has long established itself as one of the most prolific dance troupes in the industry, having represented Bangladesh multiple times in the international arena. The group's new choreography, Aranya based on Kazi Nazrul Islam's Rumjhum Rumjhum Ke Bajay will be telecast on Channel i on the first day of Srabon. The concept and choreography of the rendition is done by none other than Pooja Sengupta, the artistic director of Turongomi. “I have always wanted to work on this particular theme, and I am glad that Channel i approached us for this project. I am sure that the viewers will love it,” says a jubilant Pooja Sengupta.
