Group exhibition by Chinese artists ends at BSA
A two-day (April 2-3) group art exhibition by 15 Chinese artists concluded yesterday at gallery-1 of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).
Bangladesh-China People's Friendship Association and BSA jointly organised the exhibition titled “Chinese Culture to South Asia-Exhibition of Fine Arts of Contemporary China”. The exhibition featured 27 artworks.
Abul Hassan Mahmud Ali, Foreign Affairs Minister, inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest while Asaduzzaman Noor, Cultural Affair Minister and Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky attended the event as special guests.
Chinese ambassador in Bangladesh Ma Mingqiang was present as honourable guest. Ambassador C M Shafi Sami, President of Bangladesh-China People's Friendship Association, presided over the programme.
