A glimpse into fahad al alam's Dust to Dust

In May 2018, photographer and writer Fahad Al Alam launched A piece of whisper, a self-published book containing his photographs, all shot on film, and a book of poems, separately. His solo exhibition, Dust to Dust, is an extension of his book. The exhibition, which began on October 27 with much anticipation and zeal at Jatra Biroti, welcomed enthralling performances by Alex and the Monsters and Juliana Zhavoronkova at the opening ceremony.

As Fahad grew up in Naogaon, he always felt close to nature. He has documented nature's beauty in contrast to the urbanisation and crowds in Dhaka in his book and exhibition. The words of Fahad's poetry, placed on a different wall at the exhibition, add greatly to the whole experience. 

Prints of Fahad's images are up for sale at the exhibition. His book, A piece of whisper, is also available at a discounted price.

A portrait session, where Fahad will click fifteen pictures in total, giving the registered participants an experience of vintage photography, will also be organised at the event.

The exhibition will run till November 9.
