The content of the exhibition revolves around a portrayal of the growing distance between nature and human beings. There are collections of paintings that intrigues and asks questions about human existence. The metamorphic, mythological, contemporary themes are profoundly visible with some excellent self-portraits and mirror images. They contain political satire, post-modern values of the society, violence of religious extremism, gender dominance and absurd mythological abstractions finely blended with today’s concrete life. Some of the notable workse are - Dying Image, Sarcastic Time, History Must Die, Maneuver and Arts, Politics and Me. The title of the exhibition portrays the colour red as the unique component that makes all human beings as one -- beyond race, culture, religion, gender and language. He explores this using multiple means such as paintings, installations and land art. These were created at different timelines - from 2010 to the current timeline. The works are completed with watercolour, ink and print on paper and fabric.

Sanjoy completed his graduation and post graduation in the History of Art from Rabindra Bharati University, India. He was selected as a young artist in the first two editions of Bangladesh Art Summit in a row. He took part in international exhibitions in Bangladesh, India, Italy, Serbia and many other countries. He is now Assistant Professor of the Department of Art History at the University of Dhaka. He is currently working on his PHD on folk art of Bangladesh.

‘The main attraction of the exhibition is the mirror image painting, which is a representation of self contradiction, and it will help viewers relate to the current time,” said Shishir Bhattacharjee during the inauguration speech.

“Sanjoy Chakroborty’s works can be defined as a relay on human condition,” elaborated Mustafa Zaman, “where nature as well as humans take up a greater chunk of his attention, while he is smarting beneath the weight of the collective grievances the current world order has given rise to.”
