“Now You See Me 2” releases in Dhaka
The sequel to the 2013 heist/thriller film “Now You See Me” has just come out in theatres in the US and elsewhere, and the Dhaka audience does not have to wait long to watch it on the big screen. “Now You See Me 2” premiered in the capital's Blockbuster Cinemas yesterday, and is on the multiplex's regular roster from today.
The Jon M Chu-directed film sees the 'Four Horsemen' magician group return to action, with a new teammate. Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson are joined by Lizzy Caplan replacing Isla Fisher. Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman also reprise their roles from the first film, while Daniel Radcliffe is introduced in a major character.
The first film had found commercial success on a relatively small budget, and the sequel has received largely positive reviews so far.
