Mim's Kolkata success story
Bidya Sinha Mim, a popular TV actress of our time, has also ventured into cinema, and has found success in Dhallywood. Her much-anticipated India-Bangladesh joint production “Black” will be released today around 80 theatres in Dhaka and across the country. The film was already released in India last week.
“I'm very excited and happy ahead of release of the film,” Mim told The Daily Star.
Regarding co-artiste Soham, a popular actor of Kolkata, Mim said as a protagonist, he is very helpful. He is also a wonderful man.
“Black” was shot in Bangladesh, India and Bangkok this year.
Meanwhile, Mim wants to visit a number of theatres with the total unit for the film's promotion. She also plans to watch the movie at Balaka Cinema Hall in Dhaka on the first day. As part of its promotion, she also may visit outside Dhaka.
She is very hopeful about the movie's success and huge turnout of the audiences.
Recently, Mim went to Kolkata for the film's promotion where she appeared in a TV programme “Didi Number One” with Soham. Besides this, she participated in four programmes for Sangeet Bangla.
She also attended a press conference and did public show where scores of people of onlookers thronged for her autographs.
On the other hand, Mim-starrer “Good Morning London”, directed by Tania Ahmed and “Sweetheart” by Wazed Ali Sumon are now awaiting release.
