Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to release this December

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the concluding series of to the Skywalker saga and the third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Following The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017), the film is set to release on December 20. With more than 40 years in the making, the conclusion promises to reunite old friends and introduce new faces when it hits theaters.

Based on the characters by George Lucas, this J J Abrams directorial epic space opera features evergreen star war characters like Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) through archived footage, alongside Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), among others.
