“Oggatonama” bags another award

Since its release last year, Tauquir Ahmed has not stopped riding the success of his directorial venture “Oggatonama”. The film has earned high praise at home and abroad, and continues to bag awards from around the world. 

The director was recently spotted in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he traveled to attend the SAARC Film Festival 2017. The film won in the “Best Film” category at the event, held at Colombo's National Film Corporation's auditorium. “Oggatonama” was judged along with 14 film submissions from eight countries. 

“Oggatonama” stars Fazlur Rahman Babu, Mosharraf Karim, Nipun, Shatabdi Wadud, Shahed Ali and more. Recently, the film competed at a festival in Tunisia.
