There's no biz like showbiz for popular Nawsheen. She has anchored television shows and acted in a number of hit TV plays, besides forays into modeling. Now she is busy with shoots for upcoming Eid plays. In a recent chit chat with The Daily Star, the multi-talented artiste talked about Ramadan, Eid shopping and more:
Where do you usually have your iftar?
Nawsheen: I always try to have iftar at home on the first day of Ramadan but this time it wasn't possible because I was outside Dhaka for a shoot. But when I'm shooting at Uttara, I usually go back home in time for iftar.
What's your favourite iftar menu?
Nawsheen: Usually I avoid junk food and fried stuff. I eat hotch potch and mangoes. However, I have to admit I love jilapi steeped in milk.
Do you follow the trend of outdoor sehri?
Nawsheen: I go to restaurants sometimes with friends and cousins. However, that's only occasionally.
When will you start your Eid shopping?
Nawsheen: During the last few days of Ramadan. I enjoy shopping for my parents and children at night.
Do you get lots of gifts on Eid?
Nawsheen: I do, but I have to give many more. It really makes me happy to get gifts from my mother-in-law. My parents also give me gifts during Eid.
