For many years, Adil Hossain Noble has ruled the world of modelling. He has appeared on numerous television commercials and he occasionally acts in television projects as well. He opens up about his recent projects in a candid conversation with The Daily Star.

Are you working on any television projects for Pohela Boishakh this year?

Yes, I will start shooting for a tele-fiction, especially for Pohela Boishakh, from next week. I really like the character that I will be playing in it, and we will be shooting in Dhaka.

Do you enjoy working on television specials for occasions like Pohela Boishakh?

Many television projects come up during holidays like Eid and Pohela Boishakh. I am quite selective about the kind of shows that I act in, and I actually prefer working on television projects during these special occasions.

Tell us a little about some of your other upcoming projects.

I have just wrapped up a sunflower oil television commercial with Sadia Islam Mou, which I am really excited about. The two of us will be working on another television commercial soon.

We do not get to see you in tele-fictions as often as we would like to. Do you miss being in front of the camera?

I give the full credit of my success as an artiste to the Almighty and to my fans. Viewers have showered me with their love and support over the years. The other day, as I was returning to Dhaka from abroad, I came across some people who were kind enough to tell me that they like my work. I felt very happy and humbled seeing their love. I know my fans would like to see me on television more regularly and I miss acting.
