Ridy Sheikh

Ridy Sheikh heel-turns her way into 'One Minute Please'! The prodigal dancer made quite a name for herself internationally when she participated in 'So You Think You Can Dance' in Russia, and that success boiled over to her performances in 'Dance Plus 3' in India. Ridy now resides in Bangladesh, and is focusing on a career in both dance and acting.

Which team are you supporting in this World Cup?

I am supporting none other than Russia, because I was born there. I am super-excited that they made their way through to the quarter-finals.

If you were stuck in a deserted island for 30 days, what would you take with you?

I would take my mom! (laughs) She would instantly solve any problems that I might face.

A dancer who inspires you?

It has to be MJ (Michael Jackson). He was amazing, and influenced so many in his legendary career.

What is the biggest achievement in your career?

I believe that there is a lot left to achieve for me here, so my biggest achievement is yet to come.

A dream you want to fulfill?

I want to create a platform for Bangladeshi dancers. I feel like dancers do not get enough credit here.
