September 1 is the date that the Hogwarts Express leaves the Kings Cross station in the Harry Potter Universe and a new year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry begins This September 1, Rowling took to Twitter to announce that Harry Potter's younger son, James, began his schooling at Hogwarts, and was sorted to the Gryffindor House (like his parents and grandparents). It also referred to Teddy Tonks, son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, who is now the Head Boy and belongs to the Hufflepuff House.
