Chitkar releases debut album

Band Chitkar released their eponymous maiden album on February 10, through a concert at the Swoparjito Swadhinota Chattar, TSC. 

The concert -- “Jiboner Kache Aj, Jiboner Maane Chai”, featured performances by Sohojia, Onnoswar, Sopto-sindhu, Surja-sarothi, Kafil Ahmed and other Dhaka University campus-based bands and muscians. 

Padmo has penned and composed all the nine songs in the album. The lineup of Chitkar stands: Padmo (vocals and mondira), Rabbi, Sajib, Atonu (guitars), Shubho (bass) and Tuhin (drums). 

Chitkar has already gained popularity among the youths with their different lyrics and compositions. The album includes their popular tracks “Joto Dur”, “Hatey Haat”, “Nodir Moto Choli”, “Cholti Hawa”, “Raat Jay” and “Eka 
Eka Din”.

The album released under the banner of G-series.
