Feroza Begum Memorial Programme At Bsk Today

Marking the first death anniversary of iconic Nazrul Sangeet artiste Feroza Begum, Feroza Begum Foundation is organising a memorial programme. The event will be held at the Bishwa Sahitya Kendra (BSK) memorial today.

Family members, eminent writers, poets, intellectuals and journalists will discuss the life and works of the prolific artiste at the programme. The programme is open for all.

Feroza Begum released her first album under the famous label HMV at the age of 12 in 1942, and went on to become one of the greatest voices of Nazrul Sangeet of all time. She breathed her last on September 9, 2014.
