Earlier reports that the world’s most famous band are set to break their streaming boycott appear to be ringing true – The Beatles will finally be available on streaming music services, from this Thursday, December 24, 2015.

Re/Code cited industry sources in reporting that the British band’s music will be available for download on Apple Music, Google Play and Tidal, as well as Amazon’s Prime Music. Unlike artists like Taylor Swift, The Beatles' music will also be available on free tier versions of services, such as Spotify.

The only services that won’t have access to the full catalog, on demand, are Pandora and Rdio, which shut down this week.

The news marks a coup for music streaming services worldwide and a new chapter for The Beatles, who have been notoriously slow in jumping on the technology bandwagon -- it took the band six years to arrive on the iTunes Store, but when the music finally dropped, it sold two million songs during its first week.
