“Spectre” reveals latest Bond girl
Producers of the new James Bond film “Spectre” have announced their latest Bond girl - Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman.
Revealing the news on Twitter, they said she was joining the cast as a character called Estrella. Filming on the 24th Bond movie is currently taking place ahead of its release date in November. Before now, she had appeared in movies such as “Miss Bala” and “Pioneer”.
Sigman joins the likes of actresses Monica Belucci, Léa Seydoux and Naomie Harris on the film.
Spectre is expected to focus on 007's childhood as an orphan.
Speaking on a behind-the-scenes Vlog, director Sam Mendes said: “Spectre is a movie entirely driven by Bond. He is on a mission from the very beginning.”
The director also said the storyline would develop the characters of Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q.
