Nolan lines up mystery project at WB
Since the release of “Interstellar” last fall, Christopher Nolan has kept mum about what he plans to make as his next big feature film. No one knows whether he'll return to the world of large-scale sci-fi/fantasy, or has ideas about shifting gears and making his next movie a smaller drama. However, what is known at this point is when the project will wind up finding its way to cinemas, as Warner Bros. just announced an official release date for the potential blockbuster.
According to Deadline, Nolan has made a deal to once again work with the studio - his seventh collaboration with the company - and together they have decided to have the big feature film ready to come out on July 21, 2017. The report doesn't make mention of any details regarding what the movie will be about - but the high-profile summer release date does suggest that the filmmaker and WB are cooking up something big.
Knowing how far away the release date is, and how secretive Christopher Nolan tends to be about his projects, it may be a while before the Hollywood filmdom actually learn what he's cooking up.
