16 cinema halls to reopen with Shakib Khan’s ‘Nabab LLB’
Superstar Shakib Khan's film, "Nabab LLB", is releasing today in 16 cinema halls across the country. The film was released on the OTT platform, iTheater, on December 16, last year.
Directed by Anonno Mamun and produced by Celebrity Production, the film marks Shakib Khan's return to theatres after 15 months. His last release was the film, "Shahenshah" on March 6, 2020.
Along with Shakib Khan, the film also features Mahiya Mahi, Sporshia, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rashed Mamun Opu, Shahed Ali, Sumon Anwar and Shamim Mridha among others.
"We wanted to release the film in more than 16 cinema halls. Unfortunately, most owners are concerned with the authority's regulations and are unwilling to open the halls," Anonno Mamun told The Daily Star. "No one is taking the film industry into serious consideration. At this point, we don't know who to talk to regarding this. If everything reopened maintaining health guidelines, why won't the authority let the halls reopen again?"
