Prince Mahmud and Tanzir Tuhin dedicate new single to Ayub Bachchu
For the first time, renowned composer and lyricist Prince Mahmud collaborated with 'Avash' frontman Tanzir Tuhin with their latest release, "Alo".
The song, which will be released tomorrow under the banner of G Series, is dedicated to the late legendary singer, guitarist and composer Ayub Bachchu.
Prince Mahmud, having created 50 albums in his storied career, has worked closely with legends like Ayub Bachchu, James, and Hasan –giving the musicians some of their most memorable hits. Today is Ayub Bachchu's 2nd death anniversary.
"We released a demo of the song yesterday on our Facebook page," said Prince Mahmud, who wrote the lyrics to the song when the lockdown was in full swing.
"The lyric sheds light on how we, as human beings, are afraid of death – even when it is inevitable. We want to experience the beauty of the planet with our physical existence," said the legendary composer.
Tanzir Tuhin remarked that it was an honour to work with Prince Mahmud. "Everyone knows about his (Prince Mahmud's) contribution in Bangla music. I am fortunate to have worked with him, and I hope that the listeners will like our collaboration," said the singer.
