Noted television personality and actor Deepa Khandakar has garnered her career with praises over the years. She recently finished shooting for the film, "Paayer Chaap", directed by Saiful Islam Mannu.

 "This film is based on the struggles of being a woman in society.  We shot the film in Dhamrai. I am currently shooting for the Md Iqbal directorial, 'Revenge'. I will be playing a politician in this movie, alongside Misha Sawdagor. It is a negative role. When it comes to films, I want to focus on quality over quantity," says the actor.

She is also working on two drama serials, "Bakhorkhani" and "Gulshan Avenue 2". "We are trying to stay as careful as we can, and taking all the necessary steps to ensure safety on the sets," she adds.

Deepa Khandakar has been a part of the entertainment arena for over 20 years. The actor asserted that she does not work for fame anymore. "I try to choose different roles so that I can be referred to as a versatile actor. Challenging roles excite me," she adds.
