Why did Nusraat Faria leave Gias Uddin Selim's 'Gunin'?
Nusraat Faria Mazhar is one of the busiest actors in the film fraternity. She signed noted filmmaker Gias Uddin Selim's upcoming feature film, "Gunin" last month (August 28).
However, due to schedule clashes, the actor had to step back. "Due to Shariful Razz's health condition we had to postpone our schedule for the film," Gias Uddin Selim told to The Daily Star over the phone. "Unfortunately, Faria is already committed for shooting in London at that time. The character she was supposed to portray is crucial, we are taking time to look for a replacement."
The Daily Star tried to reach Faria over the phone, but she was unavailable.
Based on renowned writer Hasan Azizul Haque's short story, the film, "Gunin" also features Azad Abul Kalam, Iresh Zaker, Mostofa Monwar, and Shariful Razz among others.
The film, produced by Chorki, will be released in theatres and later will be available in their app.
