Workshop on 'performing art' concludes

A five-day workshop on 'performing art' concluded recently, organised by Mymensingh Zila Shilpakala Academy at its auditorium. The subjects of the workshop were-classical music, dance (contemporary and classical), fine arts, tabla, flute, making of masks and poetry recitation.

Badal Chakraborty, Arif Hossain, Moumita Roy, Ariful Islam, Imamur Rashid, Ranjit Kumar Mandol, Maruf Hossain, Fayjullah Sayeed and ustad AKM Shahabuddin Khan were part of the workshop, in which 580 students of the academy participated. The workshop is organised every year, in order to hone talents of the students in the academy.
