Partha Pratim in new French film
Internationally-famed Bangladeshi mime maestro Partha Pratim Majumder is recently donning a lead role in the upcoming French film “Ouvert La Nuit” (“Open in the Night”) that releases soon.
The story of the film revolves around a new production of a famous French Theatre. The artistes of the theatre troupe undergo a crisis as a bank puts pressure on them to return their loaned money. Edouard Baer has directed and donned the leading role in the film. The film also features César award-winning famous French actress Audrey Tautou.
“I am elated to get the opportunity to don a lead role with actor-director Edouard Baer, Audrey Tautou and Sabrina Ouazani. The four of us have been working together for the last few days in Paris. Shooting of my part ends today (July 10),” informed Majumder over Skype.
Apart from mime, Partha Pratim Majumder has been acting in French, American, Canadian, British and Norwegian films for the last 18 years. Majumder's discography includes “Lemming”, “One Dollar Curry”, “Doctor Dassin”, “Le Pharmacien de Garde”, “Janis et John”, “Joker”, “Ouf”, “Cabaret Paradis”, “OSS 117”, “Le livre des morts de Belleville”, “The Hundred Foot Journey”, “L' Entreprise” and more. He has also acted in several TV series and tele-films.
