Asif Akbar’s musical film to hit theatres

Renowned singer Asif Akbar makes his acting debut with ‘Gohiner Gaan’, a musical film. Directed by Sadat Hossain, the film is set to release on December 20.

Alongside Asif, the film casts, Syed Hasan Imam, Toma Mirza, Tanzika, Kazi Asif, and Amaan Reza, among others.

A press conference, announcing the releasing date of the film, was recently held at Dhaka Club.  Renowned singers Syed Abdul Hadi, Tapan Chowdhury, Nakib Khan, Film Producers’ Association President, Khorshed Alam Khasru and President of Bangladesh Film Directors Association, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, along with the team of Gohiner Gaan, were present at the event, among others.

“As Gohiner Gaan is a musical film, I feel the audience will find me in a new avatar,’ says Asif.
