Afran Nisho and Mehazabien

Actors Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury will be seen taking completely different avatars this Eid, as they film for Pherar Poth Nei, a tele-fiction scheduled to air on SA TV. The duo will be seen playing a double-role in what the actors deem to be one of the more intriguing projects that they have taken part in yet. It is being directed by Ashfaque Nipun. “I've had to study the lifestyles of the people I portrayed,” says Mehazabien, “I have also had to take special make-up to make it seem like my face is thinner, and that I have dark-circles!” she laughs. Afran Nisho feels that this tele-fiction is bound to make people think. “The story is about the discrepancies people belonging to different walks of life face and also where their priorities lie,” he says. “At the end of the day, however, there are similarities between people, no matter where they come from.”
