Shimu to appear in “Shunnota”

Popular television actress Sumaiya Shimu took a short break from acting after her marriage last August. Though she had fulfilled her earlier commitments, Shimu was not seen in a new play or serial. All that will change as the actress has recently signed up for a new serial.

Shimu will be seen next in drama serial “Shunnota”. Amlan Biswas will direct the serial based on Pantho Shahriar's script. Shooting for the serial will begin soon.

Shimu said, “The serial has an interesting storyline, and my character has a lot of depth. I hope the serial turns out well and the audience likes it.”

“From now on I will be choosier while selecting plays and serials,” the actress added.

Shimu-starrer serial “Jiboner Oli-goli” is currently on air on ATN Bangla.
