Women finish 24th

Bangladesh women's table tennis team finished 24th in the Asian Table Tennis Championship in China yesterday.

The Bangladesh team, comprising Rahima Akter, Moumita Alam Rumi and Sadia Rahman Mou, lost against Qatar 1-3 in their final match yesterday, said a press release from the Bangladesh Table Tennis federation.

Mou won her singles rubber but Rahima and Rumi lost theirs.

Meanwhile in the mixed doubles event, Bangladesh's Mahbub and Rumi pair beat Pakistan in 3-0 sets while the Masud Rana Porag and Rahima pair lost against Kazakhstan by the same margin.
