Budget session resumes in JS

After a recess of two days the budget session resumed in the parliament this morning.
The day's sitting started at 11:05am with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury in the chair.

According to the business schedule, question and answer session, lawmaking process and discussion of the budget will be held today.
The question and answer session has been tabled.
Discussion on the supplementary budget of fiscal 2017-18 has also started. The supplementary budget is likely to be passed in the house tomorrow.
On June 7, Finance Minister AMA Muhith unveiled his Tk 4,64, 573 crore national budget for the fiscal year 2018-19.
