Finance Minister to place nat'l budget for 2020-21 on June 11

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will place the national budget before the parliament on June 11, for the 2020-21 fiscal year, said a press note of the ministry.

The press note, quoting the finance minister, said the government has undertaken an initiative to take opinions from people of all classes and professions through a website to make the budget more participatory.

The stakeholders from different sectors can put forward their opinions through the website before the budget is prepared taking the opinions and recommendations under consideration, the press note added.
