BCB against two-tier Test
Bangladesh Cricket Board will not support the two-tier system mentioned in the draft proposal for Test cricket, said a top BCB official.
India, Australia and England, the top three members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), have recently formed the draft of two-tier system for the Test cricket, Jalal Yunus, media committee chairman of the BCB, told reporters during a press briefing at the body's office in the capital's Mirpur area.
"The BCB is against the two-tier Test policy and we are going to oppose it during the January 29 meeting of the ICC," Yunus said.
He further stated that reports published in the media on BCB's stance on the draft proposal did not represent the board's views accurately.
International Cricket Council during its board meeting on January 29 will take the decision on the proposal.
